Lose Abdominal Fat

Stomach fat is not an uncommon problem. It can be got rid off though, by focusing on two important issues: 1) exercise to lose abdominal fat and 2) eating habits. The usual cause of stubborn belly fat is a lack of exercise to lose abdominal fat. You should work strictly towards keeping to a recommended 30 minutes of exercise plan, 5 days a week. Should you not be able to do so, then a good place to start your attempts to burn off your excess stomach fat and lose abdominal fat is to start walking. Without regular exercise, your progress will only be minimal at best. Your eating habits are another obvious area to analyze. Are you consuming more than your body actually needs? One way to determine this is to consult a chart on your basal metabolic rate. If you are indeed consuming too many calories, then cutting down is a must if you want to achieve your weight loss goals and lose that abdominal fat. If you happen to have a very low metabolic rate, this may be a result of nutritional imbalances in your diet in the past. There are many people who eat one or two meals a day and find that they are still overweight. The science behind this is that the human body adapts to poor nutrition and irregular eating schedules by storing up food as fat, because it doesn't know when it will be receiving food again. This is why some people exercise and diet a lot without seeing any results.
